Largely involved in developmental work—started out as a process engineer then moved upstream on the value chain in semiconductor manufacturing, which included materials and project development, generating patents and papers along the way. After a decade, has moved to energy development for a government corporation, starting with management of a local geothermal service contract, then transitioned into business development with the aim of increasing the Philippine government’s long-term energy portfolio through self-initiated projects and partnerships with the private sector.
