During my employment at the medical library of Aalborg University Hospital I have focused on bibliometric research as well as developing databases and webtools for the library and researchers at the hospital. My research concentrates on the interpretation, robustness and quality of citation-based indicators, following citation pathways and the specific interpretations of citations, impact and research quality in medical research. The latter is also the main theme of my PhD dissertation. I enjoy developing databases and tools to save time and enable insight for myself and my colleagues, and have over time developed a pragmatic approach hereto.
