Zafar Iqbal obtained PhD degree in Carbohydrate Chemistry & Food Processing from University of Natural Resources & Applied Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna, Austria in March, 2010. He is a faculty member in the Department of Food Technology & Rural Industries at Bangladesh Agricultural University (since 2002) who has accumulated 11 years of research experience pertinent to the food technology and analytical chemistry. His research interests are analysis of biochemical, food and environmental samples for public health using capillary electrophoresis (CE) and LC-MS. Sensitive detection and separation of nanomaterials in waters by CE is currently a prime research consideration.
