Israel is currently a Senior Programme Coordinator for the Safer Development Planning and Implementation Department of the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center. He continues to contribute in enhancing the agenda of mainstreaming disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation into development planning and implementation processes in the Asia-Pacific region.
