About
Head of Medical Virology (2001) and BSL-3+ Laboratory (2006) at Pasteur Institute of Morocco. The main activity of the laboratory is the identification and genotyping of human virus diseases (respiratory viruses, herpes viruses, enteric viruses, hemorrhagic fever viruses, vector born diseases).
The Laboratory is the National Reference for Human Rabies viruses.
Since 2008 we have implemented an influenza virological surveillance system, for monitoring of influenza and other respiratory viruses in Casablanca region, using molecular tools (Multiplex real time PCR, Sequencing).
