I am an easygoing, overidealistic person who gets turned on by jazz, poetry & French food. After chasing a rugby ball in a previous life, I have currently settled on a more mundane lifestyle of Dionysian revelry (or so I wish). I stay sane by reading, writing, and occasional doses of serious philosophical thought (all of which usually get me nowhere). I champion honesty, humility, courage, and open-mindedness, especially in pets and other people. In another life, I would be an astronaut; in this one, however, I'm an economist in a development bank.
