Lived in Dixon, California from birth through 3rd grade. After parents divorced, moved with Mom and sister to Grass Valley, California for 4th & 5th grades, during which time Dad remarried, then Mom remarried. Moved with Mom and stepfather to Mariposa, California for 6th through 10th grades. Moved to Johnstown, Colorado to live with Dad and stepmom for junior and senior years of high school, graduating in 1977 from Roosevelt High.
Attended Colorado State University for one year, then worked and lived in various places around Colorado before marrying and moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Gave birth to one terrific son, Dillon, in July 1983. Attended Laramie County Community College and commute
