About
I am a hydrologist with a keen interest in the real-time flood prediction problem. While originally trained as a marketeer and international relations specialist, I changed course early in the century and decided to pursue a master's degree in water resources management at Delft University of Technology. The degree was awarded cum laude in 2008. Since 2009, I have worked on a doctoral research project concerning predictive hydrological uncertainty: what is the probability of flooding in the near future? what are the benefits of expressing predictions in terms of probability? how do we evaluate probability forecasts? Interested? Contact me!
