Jacob B. Kagan, MD, is a Board-Certified psychiatrist. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Amherst College, graduating magna cum laude with honors in research and went on to graduate with honors from Weill Cornell Medical College, where he received the Oskar Diethiem Prize for Excellence in Psychiatry.
Prior to starting his Wellesley, MA, practice specializing in the treatment of opioid addictions, Dr. Kagan served as Chief Resident of Cambridge Hospital’s Outpatient Addiction Services. He also holds the appointment of Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he currently teaches, sees patients, and is involved in fed
