Dara is known as 2ne1's fresh vocal because of her sweet and refreshing voice. When she was asked in an interview about when did she want to be a singer, and what type of singer; Park candidly answered that when she was in 2nd grade, Seo-Taiji debuted. It was then that she thought that she had to be on television too. That was the start of her dream. Sandara also cited Uhm Jung-hwa, as the one she looks up to because she is pretty, sexy and cute all rolled into one package. She wanted to be like her for she is able to change her look for every performance, states Dara.
