My digital advertising history started with Real Media, Inc., in 1998, when I was hired as the sole Traffic Manager for the Real Media North American Ad Network. In this role, I used Open AdStream (OAS), Real Media’s Ad Management System, on a daily basis. In addition to OAS, I was trained to use the DoubleClick DART System, Accipiter, and NetGravity.
In the spring of 1999, I became Real Media’s Sponsorship Specialist, which called for handling all aspects of Real Media’s Sponsorship programs including all trafficking duties. The position of Technical Account Executive was my next role at Real Media, where I successfully sold Open AdStream to clients such as eUniverse, MyCity.com..
