James "Hank" Harper, Jr. is a consummate politician and businessman.  After serving several years as a legislative assistant in the Florida House & Senate, Hank was elected to the Florida Legislature in 2000! He has had an indelible impact on the worlds of business, law, and politics simultaneously.
Not surprisingly, James “Hank” Harper, Jr. is a descendant of one of Palm Beach County’s true pioneers: Mrs. Millie Gildersleeve.  Born on March 23, Hank learned to emulate this pioneering heritage from a very early age.   His assertive, resourceful and adaptable behavior has kept him on the pulse of Palm Beach County’s most passionate issues.
