I am a 56 year old retiree from the U S Postal Service, where I started September 28, 1970 and retired August 3, 2007. I served as a clerk, management trainee, a variety of managerial positions in Springfield, MO, Webb City, MO, Joplin, MO, and Noel, MO.
I am currently sudying for my PhD in Education, and I hope to teach writing or teaching writing to prospective teachers at the college level upon graduation (hopefully) next year. I am a news hound and spend much time at the computer reading such sites as Fired Up Missouri, the Daily Kos, and the Huffington Post. I get most of my news from the Internet and BBC America since the news sources in this country are too tied to the conserv
