Presently a teacher in VKV Roing, Arunachal Pradesh since 2006. Earlier worked (1) as a lecturer in an adhoc post in Moran College, Sivasagar, Assam; and(2) as a Research Assistant for writing the history of the Chutias of Assam under Professor (Rtd) Dr.(Mrs.) S.L.Baruah in the Deptt. of History, Dibrugarh University.
