I was born in an area when most typewriters were not even electric, phones had dials and used wires. Don't blame me if I do not keep up my Facebook profile. That said, most gadgets we were so enthralled about from Star Trek (the TV series, not the movies) are now available at Best Buy. Cell phones and IPads look a lot like the communicators and eBook readers from the show. How about tasers, and handheld medical devices? Who knows, soon maybe we can do an MRI or CAT scan on the ambulance.
