John has a history in location technology and building consumer experiences.
He started his career carrying out back breaking work manually digitising all the farm boundaries in Namibia. He moved back to UK, got a 1st Class GIS degree and joined a 8 man startup called Multimap.com in 2000. Multimap grew to 120 people, became the #1 business and consumer mapping company in Europe, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2008. John continued with Microsoft and executed localisation program to improve relevancy of Bing Maps B2B and B2C services for European markets.
