Born in Indianola, Iowa. I attended college in Illinois, Kansas, and Iowa before graduating from Grinnell College. I worked as a lab technician before starting medical school in Des Moines, IA. I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where I joined the LDS church, met my beautiful and talented wife ( Nancy) had my children (Robbie and Rachel) and practiced family medicine for 12 years.
