My fourteen years of experience are mostly focused on Food Security, Human Rights and Nutrition in Latin America, Africa and the Caucasus, having lived in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Chile, Georgia, Ethiopia and Kenya.
At present, I am doing a PhD on Global Food Governance and Transition towards more sustainable forms of Food Production, supervised by Olivier de Schutter in the University of Louvain, Belgium.
Some years ago, I developed the conceptual framework, technical details and fundraising of the high-level regional initiative Hunger-free Latin America and the Caribbean and I was founding member of the Chair on Hunger and Poverty Studies of the University of Cordoba.
