My research targets the performance optimization of wireless networks with real prototyped solutions. I have focused on the performance of multimedia traffic (both voice and video) in 802.11 networks.
As a wireless networks engineer, I have designed and prototyped diverse media access control (MAC) layer protocols (Firmware & Driver level) to enhance the multimedia traffic performance being tested in real life deployments with up to 35 nodes. I have developed an in-depth knowledge of MAC for Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, and have gained extensive experience in hardware and software design with embedded systems.
