About
Jose V. Galán holds MSc and PhD degrees in Telecommunications, both from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In 2005 was training engineer with SIEMENS S. A. in the Transportation Division of Valencia premises. From 2006 to 2010, he was research engineer with the Nanophotonics Technology Center, where he also developed his PhD thesis in the field of silicon photonics and optoelectronics and packaging technologies. In 2009 he was invited researcher with the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (Fraunhofer IZM) in Berlin (Germany).
