Joy is a building architect and urbanist who specializes in the design of sustainable urban data systems and buildings. She is a part-time professor at Durham College, in the School of Science and Engineering Technology, where she teaches both DESIGN CONCEPTS FOR SUSTAINABLE BUILDING and STRUCTURES to Energy Management & Sustainable Building Technology, and Architectural Technology, students.
Joy has worked in private practice, public service and education on both sides of the Atlantic.
