I look for opportunities to work with data in multiple domains, especially in the context of machine learning and Hadoop. My interest ranges from mesh networks, to stochastic gradient descent, to genetic algorithms, to classification, all the way to biologically inspired algorithms such as quantitative stigmergy. I'm interested in trying forward thinking techniques, especially new research based techniques, that push domains such as genomic, utility, and financial data. I believe a strong commitment to the open source world is a good component to any business.
