I am a consultant histopathologist at JDW pathology in Cape Town. My pathology interests include ENT pathology, lymph node, breast and GIT pathology. I am currently on the Medical and Dental Board (MDB) of the Health Professions Council South Africa, and a member of the MDB sub-committee for postgraduate education and training (PETM). I am also chairperson of the sub-Saharan FAIMER (Foundation for the Advancement of Medical Education and Research) Regional Institute (SAFRI) and senior deputy editor of the African Journal for Health Professions Education.
