I am a literary critic and creative writer with three published books: Gender in African Women's Writing: Identity Sexuality and Difference; Your Madness, Not Mine: Stories of Cameroon; The Sacred Door and Other Stories: Cameroon Folktales of the Beba. My fiction is published under the pen name Makuchi.
I teach World and Postcolonial Literatures, Literary Theory, and Women's and Gender Studies in the English Department at North Carolina State University.
