I was born and raised in a typical middle class Filipino family. I had a happy childhood. I was forced to grow up (emotionally and mentally) when my family decided to send me to a far away University. Without my parents around, I learned to stand on my own. Looking back, I have no regrets because I’ve learned to be independent. I’ve learned early on that there are no freebies in this world. I can only achieve great things if I work harder.
