what would my heaven be like? it would be the life that i have now with all of its pleasures and pains. obviously, no one wants to endure everlasting pain and suffering, but can you imagine being numbed by incessant pleasures? how can i appreciate pleasure without feeling pain? how can i achieve glorious accomplishments without the risk of unimaginable loss? the boredom of eternal pleasure would be my hell.
