I've spent the past 15 years in web and software globalization as both a consultant (Byte Level Research) and employee (Microsoft). I'm passionate about overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers on the Internet, which may range from websites to software interfaces to Internationalized Domain Names.
I've authored a number of books: Beyond Borders: Web Globalization Strategies, The Art of the Global Gateway, and The Savvy Client's Guide to Translation Agencies.
I write the Web Globalization Report Card, which documents best practices (and not-so-great practices) of more than 200 global companies.
I co-founded two publishing imprints: Byte Level Books and Ashland Creek Press.
