I work to bring equity to traditionally marginalised communities, providing support, advocacy, and community to people of colour, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ2 people. I labour towards a more equitable society and this goal is echoed in all areas of my daily life. Currently, I am attending Portland State University in pursuit of a BA in Black Studies. I hope to go on to graduate school and eventually achieve at least one PhD. I would also like to run for public office and serve my state.
I write poetry and novels with characters who have diverse ethnic backgrounds and identities, and I'm currently preparing research for a non-fiction book on Oregon Black History.
