While assisting research on Solar Refrigeration
did Solar Power Utilization Research as a Research Assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering under Prof JCV Chinnappa. Have presented papers in the International Solar Energy Journal and the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka on a Pressurized Solar Water Heater in 1970 and 1971.
Presented at the Annual sessions of Srilanka Association for Advancement of Science a paper on my Research work on CdS Solar cells for Water Pumping.in 1971
Long experience in the operation of an aged High Pressure Steam Turbine 50MW Generator 1971 to1977.
