I work as a special education teacher in the Rochester City School District. Currently, I am a special education teacher in a 1st grade self-contained classroom. I have worked for RCSD for ten years as: consultant special education teacher, integrated special class teacher for grades 2-3, and self contained 12:1:1 teacher for grades K-1 and 1-2, the Alternative to Suspension Teacher (ATS), Integrated 4th grade teacher, and a self contained 12:1:1 teacher for grades 4, 5, and 6; a 6th grade integrated co-teacher; a 2nd grade integrated co-teacher; and a 1st grade 12:1:1 self contained classroom.
