I think in this day and age, we tend to give people too much credit and as a result, we end up disappointed and confused. I think we often think that the only person that would understand what you're thinking about is yourself. But since we can't date ourselves haha it's about finding someone who is at least willing to try to understand you. I've learned the hard way and know that common sense goes a long way. It's something so simple yet few people seem to have it anymore. I believe that I have to earn your respect and not assume I have it to begin with.
