Kelechi Okereke was born in the Washington DC area to Nigerian immigrants. His family moved to outskirts of Philadelphia when he was four and stayed there until he was six, when he and his family moved to New Jersey. Okereke’s mother is a pharmacist and the owner of a small health and wellness business with Kelechi’s sister. His brother, Kareem Okereke, is a successful business owner focused on the real estate sector in Nigeria. Okereke’s father was an orthopedic surgeon who passed away in Nigeria on a medical mission. Okereke is a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania.
