I'm responsible for the news and information produced by the staff at the Orange County Register. I'm the editor of the paper and senior vice president of our communication's company, but I see my main job as determining strategy, coaching, clearing away obstacles and providing tools for the staff so they can do the best work possible. Our focus is delivering relevant and reliable information in the different ways readers want it, when they want it and how they want it. I am not responsible for commentary and opinion. That work is handled by Mike Tipping the interim editorial director.
