I was born in Muncie, IN. I spent most of my childhood in the Inland Empire of Southern California. At various times I also lived near Atlanta.
I have been in the Bay Area since 1997, first in Berkeley and since 2002 in San Francisco. I spent one year in Barcelona from 1999-2000.
I live with my spouse Tee in San Francisco. I am a deportation defense attorney. I am fluent in Spanish and also speak conversational Catalan and French.
