Kimberley Gomez is a Professor in the Urban Schooling Division faculty of the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Her research and design work is focused on urban, underserved children in middle and high schools.
Her research projects have included a study of the relationship between reading achievement and science achievement with 9th through 11th graders in seven Chicago high schools and a study of the use of multiple source comprehension approaches in urban middle school classrooms.
