I am a tenured associate professor of journalism at the University of Central Florida. Author of Women Politicking Politely (Lexington, 2017), The Food Section: Newspaper Women and the Culinary Community (Rowman & Littlefield, 2014) and a co-author of Mad Men & Working Women: Feminist Perspectives on Historical Power, Resistance and Otherness (Peter Lang, 2014/2016). I have published more than 30 articles about women and journalism history.
