I've been writing guidelines or explaining how-to for years. I can't help it. I love the odd phrase "cognitive scaffolding" and I think that summarizes what I love to do - build the scaffold that helps people climb to a higher level of understanding and learning. I love learning myself and I like trying to encourage others to be on the lookout for new things to learn. This is the crucial part behind the dry titles of jobs over the years.
