Because the corporation was owned 100% by Alaska Natives, it was necessary for the publication to reflect traditional values while keeping the shareholders informed about the status of their corporation's international subsidiaries. These subsidiaries included industries such as construction, mining, high-tech defense devolpment and contracting, catering, publication, and advertising.
