Brief sketch of Labrang Kyabgon Kusho
The seveth Maharaja Chogyal Tsugphud Namgyal S/o Chogyal Tenzing Namgyal, born in the shing-dul wood serpent year of the 13th century, 1785 AD. Ascended the throne in the me-drug, fire-dragon year and died in the year 1863 Chu-phag, water hog year, married Lamoi Lhacham as recommended by the Tibetan Government, who bore all the expenditure for escorting the bridal party to Sikkim as well as costs for the proposed marriage. Lamoi Lacham was a lady of the Lamoi family of Lhasa.
