A few lines about me & my attitude...
1) Every man is said to have his peculiar ambition. Whether it be true or not, I can say for one that I have no other so great as that of being truly esteemed of my fellow men, by rendering myself worthy of their esteem.
2) I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell - you see, I have friends in both places.
3) If I am walking with two other men, each of them will serve as my teacher. I will pick out the good points of the one and imitate them, and the bad points of the other and correct them in myself.
4) I don't see myself being special; I just see myself having more responsibilities than the next man.
