Dr. Mariño-Ramírez is a Staff Scientist in the Computational Biology Branch at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). He is an experienced and results-oriented computational biologist interested in the development of complete bioinformatics solutions for a variety of biological systems. Dr. Mariño-Ramírez's scientific experience spans 17 years including postgraduate studies (Ph.D.) focused on the development of computational methods to study the molecular and cellular interactions controlling gene expression in eukaryotes along with the evolution of eukaryotic gene regulatory elements.
