Lionel R. Amarakone, formerly Country Information Officer (CIO) of the Save the Children UK got a VSO placement in Thailand in 2011 and took up a a two year placement as Adviser on Advocacy and Media. He is a Fellow Member of both the CILIP (U.K.) and the SLLA.
