Lluís Formiga is R&D Engineer at Verbio Technologies, Spain. Previously he has been a post-doctoral researcher and partial lecturer at Speech and Language Technologies Research Center (TALP) linked to UPC. He completed the BsC, MsC and PhD in Enginyeria i Arquitectura la Salle, Ramon Llull University (Barcelona) specializing on the field of Perceptual Tuning of TTS systems by active algorithms (aiGA). Subsequently, at TALP he worked in adaptative Machine Translation under the FAUST project (http://www.faust-fp7.eu/) focusing on several topics.
