It was the summer of 1988 and hip-hop music was on fire. This was the biggest summer in the history of hip-hop and it proved to be a defining moment of the entire movement.
Huge albums dropped that summer with bangers such as Boogie Down Production - My Philosophy; Eric B. & Rakim - Microphone Fiend; Public Enemy - Dont Believe The Hype; Run DMC - My Adidas; and Slick Rick - Childrens Story to name a few. That summer was the inauguration of myself as Logan Blaze as I DJd my very first house party.
The very first song that I played was Biz Markies title song, Biz Is Goin Off! Now, after over twenty years on the wheels of steel, my swagger is stronger than eve
