Since october 2014 Lorenza Manfredi is a PhD student at the Universität der Künste Berlin. Her research project focus on a specific phenomenon, which are artistic interventions on walls and buildings in public space of Berlin, that tells a lot about the social impact as well as cultural and political influences and relations of power in the city. During her studies she lived and worked in several cities, among them Weimar, Istanbul and Cape Town. The very different urban environments and social habits she could observe made her more and more interested in the the social dimension of public spaces.
