I'm a Louisiana native, currently living in Shreveport with my beautiful wife, our new baby son Jack Elliott, and our little dog Teddy, a cocker spaniel.
I work as the Economic Development Coordinator in the Office of the Mayor for the City of Shreveport. Previously, I served as Legislative Assistant and Military Liaison in the Washington, DC, and Shreveport offices of US Senator Mary Landrieu.
In my free time, I enjoy honing my skills as a social entrepreneur, having founded the Louisiana statewide chapter of New Leaders Council (www.newleaderscouncil.org) which I continue to co-direct. I also formed the Louisiana Progress Initiative which merged with the Coalition for Louisiana Pro
