I now work on London Gateway Port for Laing O'Rourke, one of the biggest port developments in the UK in decades. It's exciting to be involved on one of the few really huge civil engineering works in this country!
Prior to this placement I was involved with new nuclear tender work for Laing O'Rourke, using CAD software to inform site logistics and earthwork strategy.
At University I was a keen member of the Ultimate Frisbee team, as well as at various times being Chairman, Second team Captain, Equipment Secretary and First team member of the club. I have managed to continue this after University and have recently been voted in as Club Captain of Cutty Sharks Ultimate Frisbee team.
