An architect with well over a decade of experience in his field, Lynden Garland began his professional career after earning his bachelor of architecture at Hampton University in 1998 and two years later received his master of urban and environmental planning, with a concentration on housing and community development, from the University of Virginia. To complement his continued career in architecture, Lynden Garland received his master of business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University concentrating in real estate.
