It all started back in 2003.
I was finishing my economics degree at Universidade Catolica de Moçambique in Beira when a German based Microfinance bank started operations there.
I was recruited and immediately given significant back-office responsibilities in the delivery and control of the banks savings products. My customer facing skills did impress, and soon I was put in charge of managing relationships with clients. I quickly learned their banking requirements and how they could be met by the banks complete products bouquet.
