Marwa Abdelmonem is an architect by training and education, and currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Interior Environmental Design at Texas Tech University. She earned her Master鈥檚 degree in Environmental Design in 2012. Her Master鈥檚 work focused on the analysis of environmental factors related to low-income high-rise housing. Her current research interest is in gerontology-environments. Marwa鈥檚 Ph.D. dissertation focuses on place attachment and depression in nursing homes. She serves as the Student Representative to EDRA Board of Directors (2013-2015).
